Preston City Council and Arts Lancashire would like to invite you to a special event for artists and cultural organisations to inform the development of the Preston Cultural Strategy and the Lancashire Encounter.

Preston City Council, working closely with key stakeholders and other partners have big ambitions for Preston. The Cultural Strategy will provide the vision and framework for delivering the ambition. The Lancashire Encounter festival will be a flagship cultural event for central Lancashire and a driver for the development of Lancashire’s arts and cultural offer.

Festival specialists FEI (Festival and Events International) are talking to people across the county to inform a four-year vision and business plan for the growth of the Lancashire Encounter festival 2019 – 2022.

Tom Fleming Creative Consultancy, creative and cultural economy specialists are leading consultations with key stakeholders partners to inform the development of the 10 year Cultural Strategy.

Artists, creatives and cultural organisations are key in shaping a compelling and impactful festival, city and county of the future and we very much hope that you can come along to this special meeting to share your thoughts, experiences and recommendations.
