Arts Lancashire has teamed up with 3D 360 to offer a Level 3 equivalent ‘3D Printing, 3D CAD & Digital Manufacturing’ Advanced Manufacturing Skills Bootcamp for Freelance Artists & Arts Organisation Employees in the Lancashire-12 area – Burnley, Chorley, Fylde, Hyndburn, Lancaster & Morecambe, Pendle, Preston, Ribble Valley, Rossendale, South Ribble, West Lancashire, Wyre.
Learn 3D Printing, 3D CAD, Industry 4.0, Robotics & Automation, VR & AR, AI & Machine Learning, IoT, Big Data & Cyber Security and Electrification and receive a FREE 3D Printer so you can continue your learning or go straight into production / and income generating activities straight after the course.
Suitable For: Freelance Artists & Arts Organisation Employees in the Lancashire-12 area – Burnley, Chorley, Fylde, Hyndburn, Lancaster & Morecambe, Pendle, Preston, Ribble Valley, Rossendale, South Ribble, West Lancashire, Wyre.
Eligibility: Must be age 19+ or over on 31st August 2023 and have right to work in the UK.
Start Date: Any time in September / October / November 2023.
Flexible Learning: Complete over 10 – 16 weeks from your start date.
Online: 7 days will be delivered remotely via Microsoft Teams
Face-To-Face: The 3 face-to-face days will take place at Assembly Arts in Lancaster on 15th & 16th November 2023.
Costs for Self Employed: Unemployed, self-employed and career changers, total cost is £0 per learner (100% funded by the DfE).
Costs for Employed: Employed by an SME (less than 250 employees), total cost to the employer is £360/£350 + VAT per learner (90% funded by the DfE).
The Skills Bootcamp course is 60 hours of tutor-led learning over 10 flexible days (10 x 6 hour days, x3 face-to-face & x7 remote) over upto a maximum of 16 weeks via a flexible carousel type ‘hop-on hop-off’ delivery model to minimise disruption for the learners and employers.

Module 3 (online) – IoT (Internet of Things)
Module 4 (online) – Electric Vehicles & Electrification
Module 5 (online) – Cyber security & Big Data
Module 6 (online) – Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality
Module 7 (online) – What is Additive Manufacturing (AM) & How to generate income from AM
Module 8 (in person) – 3D Printer Practical Build on Wednesday 15th November 2023 at Assembly Arts in Lancaster. (Includes Free 3D Printer)
Module 9 (in person) – 3D Printer Operations and maintenance on Thursday 16th November at Assembly Arts in Lancaster. (Includes Free 3D Printer)
Module 10 (online) – 3D Computer Aided Design
Module 11 – (Unemployed learners only) – Wrap around employment support inc. CV Review, Mock Interviews and Back to Work plan (where applicable)
The skills bootcamps are subsidised by the Department for Education and cost the following (Ex. VAT)
