The Lancashire Arts Exchange is a biannual event hosted by Arts Lancashire. It focuses on key issues impacting and inspiring the arts sector with the purpose of educating and inspiring Lancashire artists and arts organisations.
LANCASHIRE ARTS EXCHANGE 2024
Our biannual Lancashire Arts Exchange returns this year on Wednesday 13th March 2024 at Horse + Bamboo in Rossendale. Join us for a day of presentations, panel discussions and workshops on Climate Leadership, Action and Justice in the arts and receive access to resources expanding on topics explored at the event.
The programme has been curated by LANDS, the new Lancashire Arts Network for Developing Sustainability, which will have its official launch at the event. It features voices from artists, arts and environmental organisations including Bangladeshi theatre maker, Abdur Razzak, Ergon Theatre, Resolve Collective, Lancaster Arts, The National Festival of Making and others.
There will also be an opportunity to contribute to The Mark of Resolve, a new artwork we are creating in collaboration with creative, Stephen Caton, as a visual symbol of the collective commitment of the Lancashire cultural sector to a more climate conscious approach to commissioning, making and sharing art in Lancashire.
Tickets are priced at £5 (including refreshments and lunch) and must be booked in advance.
