The Gathering Podcast Series 3: Exploration

Exploration

Season 3 of The Gathering, our podcast for artists and creatives, goes live this week.

After the year of uncertaintly we’ve all had, we wanted to help our listeners find more positive ways to look ahead and even start to make plans for a future that is still in shift. So, this season is all about exploration, and features conversations led by Lancashire based artists discussing themes and ideas that are important to their practice and the future of their work.

We’ve commissioned three Lancashire based artists and arts organisations to create three podcasts, each of which explores a particular aspect of their practice, or an issue or a question that they’re currently grappling with. Their findings are rich and interesting and we’re happy to share their wonderful learnings to the wider sector. We hope you find them useful to your own thinking and practice.

We aim to make all of our work fully accessible so each episode features subtitles and British Sign Language interpretation throughout. We have also transcribed each conversation and you can view the transcripts for each episode via a link in the Resources section.

The first episode has been produced by, Lancashire NPO, Imitating The Dog, in conversation with their friends and associates.

It’s called Reinvention, Reconnection, Reimagining: Conversations Exploring Theatre, Digital Technology and Live Performance and you can listen to it here.

Huge thanks to Creative Lancashire, who have supported Season 3.
