East Lancashire has a proud singing tradition from the history of The Larks of Dean to the 2022 triumph by Rossendale Male Voice Choir at the Lancashire Choir of the Year Competition. But as an area it has had fewer platforms for presenting high quality vocal opportunities. The aims will be to connect individual singers and groups in East Lancashire to a wider support network using County of Song. We will work with Horse and Bamboo to curate an event and to open up new singing opportunities.
